Frodsham & District Choral Society was founded in 1970 by a group of 60 singers.
The choir is a registered charity whose aims are to educate the public in the art and science of music, by means of rehearsal, concert performances and other related activities.

We are a mixed choir of just over 100 amateur singers but we strive to present a professional image whilst enjoying what we do.

The choir is conducted by Howard Kane and accompanied by Robert Woods.

We give four concerts a year of both sacred and secular music from Bach to Rutter with full orchestra or an organ accompaniment.

An article on our 40th anniversary can be found in the April 2010 Making Music newsletter.
